Yesterday, 16th April, 2026, I addressed all my ward and LGA Excos across the 377 wards in Lagos state, majority of whom are young people, in preparation for governorship direct primary election as communicated by the party. I enjoined them to start rallying all party members in their units, zones and wards.

And if anything changes tomorrow and it’s going to be a consensus arrangement, We have also agreed to support the party decision.
